Officially launched in October 2015, the Southwest Business Improvement District (SWBID) is the 10th Business Improvement District in the District of Columbia. We're working to redefine the status quo for cleanliness, state of public infrastructure, beautification and placemaking throughout the neighborhood. The SWBID covers 483 acres of Southwest DC, stretching from 15th Street SW to South Capitol Street, Independence Ave to Maine and M Streets SW.
